HP 17z-cp000
Probably our favorite budget laptop. Costs less than $600 yet comes with storage and display that’s way better than pretty much all laptops in this price range.
The laptop is similar to the HP 15 laptop except this one has a larger 17.3″ inch display and unlike most cheaper laptops that have a 720p resolution, this one has a better 1600×900 resolution.
Furthermore, its 128GB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD is also a surprise as most laptops less than $600 often have just a 128GB or 256GB SSD.
The webcam and mic are also pretty good so office meetings or attending school from home for kids should be a breeze.
I would have preferred an i3 or AMD processor over the AMD Athlon Gold 3150U 2-Core processor as they would have been faster but that’s a small sacrifice considering the other benefits you get for the money.
